What if a cat's paws are hot?
Hot paws of a cat may indicate a rise in body temperature. When a cat has just finished intense exercise or is in a tense state, there may be a brief rise in temperature, which causes the cat's pads to heat up, even increase in respiratory rate. The temperature will gradually return to normal after the cat calms down.
