Do neutered male cats still go into heat?
Male cats usually do not go into heat after neutering surgery. However, if they still show signs of heat, it's because the testicles are the main source of male hormones, which cause hair to go into heat. After removing the testicles, the body usually stops producing male hormones, but the existing male hormones in the body have not completely dissipated, so the cat may still show signs of heat. This is a normal physiological phenomenon and owners need not worry too much.
