How to deworm a Teddy dog
Teddy dogs need to be dewormed once a month, including one internal deworming and one external deworming. Choose different deworming drugs according to the season, as each drug has a different spectrum of effectiveness and focuses on different aspects. The selection should be based on the current environment, for example, Teddy dogs who love to play in grassy areas in summer need to pay attention to tick prevention. Common suggestions for daily deworming include Supercredible, Avoderm, Frontline, Baytril, and Heartgard.
Currently commonly used external deworming drugs include Avoderm, Frontline, and Supercredible, which can also be used internally.
Avoderm can mainly prevent and treat flea infections. Unlike other deworming drugs, it has a therapeutic effect on ear mites. In addition to ear mites, it can also prevent and treat sarcoptes and demodex mites.
The efficacy of Frontline in treating external parasite infections is slightly lower than that of Avoderm, but its safety is excellent. It can treat and prevent infections caused by fleas, lice, ear mites, and sarcoptes mites.
Supercredible can treat dog fleas and tick infections, and also prevent canine heartworm infection and gastrointestinal nematode infections. It is recommended to use Supercredible in summer because its prevention effect on ticks is excellent.
Common internal deworming drugs include Baytril, which can treat and prevent dog roundworm and tapeworm infections.
Heartgard can treat and prevent dog roundworm and hookworm infections, clear canine heartworm larvae to prevent canine heartworm disease, and has excellent palatability.
These are all commonly used internal and external deworming drugs. The specific choice depends on the environment and the dog's condition.
