How to Make the Big Cat Accept the New Little Cat

1. Pay attention to isolation

Some cats have a strong sense of possession and do not allow other cats to exist in their territory. In severe cases, they may even fight each other. Therefore, when a new little cat comes to the house, the owner should first isolate it and avoid direct contact between the two cats.

2. Exchange used items

After a period of isolation, the two cats will become aware of each other's existence and gradually lose their hostility towards each other. This is the perfect time for the owner to exchange the items the cats have used, so that they can become familiar with each other's scent.

3. Guide them to play together

After a week of isolation, the owner can try to let the big cat and the new little cat meet and gradually guide them to play together using a cat toy. If they do not fight and the big cat's eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom are all normal, it means the big cat has accepted the new little cat.
