How to raise a Teddy bear puppy

**Newly purchased Teddy bear puppies may be unfamiliar with their surroundings and have just been weaned, so special care should be taken in choosing and measuring their food. It is best to feed the dog in small amounts multiple times a day to avoid stretching its stomach. When raising a Teddy bear puppy, owners should also note that the dog's teeth are constantly growing, so it's a good idea to provide them with some hard bones to chew on. This not only helps supplement the missing trace elements in their body but also promotes rapid growth.同时,worming and vaccination should be done regularly. Before the dog receives the vaccine, its immune system is weak, so do not give it a bath to avoid catching a cold.

Points to note when raising Teddy bear puppies:

  1. Do not over fatigue the small Teddy bear dog. Playing with the puppy when it first arrives home will make it happy and increase its sense of belonging, but excessive play will exhaust the puppy and weaken its endurance. Therefore, after the puppy has played for a while, let it rest more to recover its strength.

  2. Limit its contact with strangers and avoid taking it to crowded places within the first two weeks. This will prevent it from being scared.

  3. Do not disturb the puppy when it is sleeping, and do not frighten it.

  4. When the Teddy bear puppy is eating, do not disturb it and avoid making it run around.

  5. Do not give random snacks, as this may affect its normal appetite and cause gastrointestinal discomfort, vomiting, or diarrhea.

  6. When picking up the dog, first hold its neck above its head to lift it up, then use the other hand to support its abdomen. Do not only hold the skin on the back of its neck like a cat. When holding the young dog, place one hand on its chest and the other hand or arm under its hind legs and tail, holding it close to your body to make it feel secure. Do not only hold the dog's front legs, as its bones and muscles have not fully developed, which can easily lead to fractures or injuries.

  7. Do not place the young dog on a high place, even for a moment. Because most young dogs suffer from acrophobia, accidents can happen if they fall off, causing concussions or fractures.

  8. Do not scare the Teddy bear with sudden loud noises, as this will make it timid and lose confidence in its new environment.

  9. Do not deceive the young dog, and do not think that playing tricks on it is harmless. This is a big no-no when raising young dogs. Because of this, the dog may not understand right from wrong, and it will lose trust in its owner. Be clear and decisive when training the young dog, and reward or punish accordingly.

  10. Do not force the young Teddy bear dog if it cannot understand the command. High pressure may make it feel desperate.

  11. Do not shout at the young Teddy bear dog if it does not obey. This will only make it more confused.

  12. Do not chase the young Teddy bear dog, as this will only make the mischievous dog more excited and the timid dog scared to the point of danger.
