How often should kittens be dewormed?

Kittens as young as 7 weeks old can be dewormed. After 7 weeks, kittens are preparing to wean and enter the kitten stage, which is when they are in the weaning period. At this point, the kittens are able to regulate their body temperature and their immune system has strengthened, so they can begin using deworming medication. Generally, kittens under the age of 6 months need to be dewormed externally and internally once a month. After 6 months, the internal deworming can be changed to every 3 months.

How to deworm kittens?

Internal and external deworming of kittens can start as early as after weaning. Of course, the methods for internal and external deworming are different and the deworming cycle also varies. For internal deworming in kittens, one tablet per month until the kitten is 6 months old, then oral administration every 3 months.
