Is sunbathing good for small dogs?

Sunbathing has its benefits for small dogs. Firstly, it helps with the synthesis of vitamin D in their bodies, thereby promoting calcium absorption. However, owners should also be cautious and not bring their small dogs for sunbathing during the middle of summer or afternoon, or when sunlight is intense, to avoid heatstroke and dehydration. Additionally, if the dog's immunity has not yet been completed, it is recommended not to take it outside for sunbathing. Instead, owners can let them sunbathe indoors to avoid infection.
