Short-term excessive calcium supplementation in dogs can burden the intestine, causing constipation, anorexia, and indigestion. If calcium is supplemented excessively for a long time, it can cause hypercalciuria, increase the chance of urinary system stones, and lead to calcification of the dog's bones. The bones become fragile and prone to fractures, and high blood calcium levels can also affect internal organ function. Therefore, do not blindly feed nutrients to your dog; instead, regulate its diet reasonably based on its daily eating habits.

Excessive calcium content in bones makes the bones fragile and prone to fractures.
Affecting the dog's appetite, thereby affecting intestinal absorption of other nutrients.
Excess calcium in the intestine inhibits the absorption of iron, zinc, and other divalent ions, causing secondary zinc and iron deficiency, and leading to symptoms such as decreased immunity, anorexia, slow growth, anemia, and fatigue.
High blood calcium levels cause calcium deposits in internal organs or tissues. If deposited around the cornea, it will affect vision; if deposited on heart valves, it will affect heart function; and if deposited in blood vessel walls, it will exacerbate vascular hardening.
