What's the matter with a puppy always whining?

A puppy constantly whining may be due to the following reasons:

  1. The puppy is hungry. During the rapid growth and development stage, the puppy needs a lot of nutrients and energy. However, due to its limited stomach capacity, it cannot intake too much food at once. Under the rapid digestion and metabolism, the puppy may often feel hungry. It is advised to feed the puppy with small meals and choose goat's milk formula without lactose to ensure the puppy's health.

  2. The puppy feels cold. Puppies have weak constitutions, insufficient immunity, and imperfect heat production systems. They need to absorb heat from the outside to keep themselves warm. It is recommended to provide the puppy with warm blankets and other items to create a cozy environment.

  3. The puppy wants to defecate. For a long time after birth, puppies need their mother's help to defecate. When the dog mother licks the puppy's anus, she stimulates the puppy's anus, causing the puppy to have a bowel movement. When the dog mother is not around, humans need to help the puppy defecate. You can choose cotton buds, wet them with warm water, and rub them on the puppy's anus to stimulate defecation.

  4. The puppy may also constantly whine when it feels scared. Puppy owners can choose blankets or other items with the smell of the dog mother. Giving these items to the puppy can help it stay in a familiar smell, reducing fear.
