How to Feed Border Collies
First, the owner needs to prepare daily necessities for the Border Collie, such as dog houses, dog bowls, dog food, toys, and chew sticks. The owner needs to take the dog to the hospital for deworming, vaccination, and other routine procedures. When the Border Collie is about 3 months old, the owner can start some daily training. The owner needs to regularly clean the dog's hygiene, including bathing, oral and ear cleaning.
Things to Note When Raising Border Collies
Pay attention to pet diet, choose medium and large breed puppy food to meet the calcium and mineral needs of medium and large breed growth. Observe your pet's behavior, such as defecating anywhere, barking, and jumping on people. If such behaviors occur, it is likely due to insufficient socialization and training in childhood. The owner needs to retrain, meet the Border Collie's exercise needs, and sheepdogs are energetic, needing at least 2 hours of exercise per day. The exercise amount can be reduced appropriately in the early stages. If the exercise is insufficient, it will also lead to excessive energy expenditure, such as destroying the house.
