Cat's eyes bleed water

Cat's eyes bleeding water may be due to external injuries, or it may be due to eye diseases such as keratitis and conjunctivitis. But whatever the cause, this situation is very serious for cats, so it is recommended that owners take their cats to the pet hospital for a comprehensive examination as soon as possible, and then adopt appropriate methods for targeted treatment. Do not perform any operations at home, as this may easily lead to disease exacerbation and even blindness in cats.

  1. External injuries

If a cat's eye is hit or injured during a fight with other cats, it may cause the eye to bleed. As the cat has already shown bleeding symptoms, the owner needs to take the cat to the pet hospital for diagnosis and treatment, stop the bleeding, and check if the cat has corneal damage. If there is no corneal damage, drop some anti-inflammatory eye drops. If there is corneal damage, the cat will need to use anti-inflammatory eye drops first, and then undergo corneal repair surgery.

  1. Eye diseases

If a cat has eye diseases such as keratitis or conjunctivitis, it usually also shows symptoms of bleeding water from the eyes, accompanied by tears, increased secretions from the eyes, photophobia, and scratching. This situation is also very serious. If not treated in a timely manner, the cat may easily lose its vision. Therefore, it is recommended that the owner take the cat to the pet hospital as soon as possible for examination, and then treat accordingly based on the examination results.
