Cat's tail doesn't move, but tail tip moves

This might be caused by boredom, pondering, or illness. First, if the cat is bored or thinking about something, it is a normal phenomenon for the above symptoms to occur, and owners don't need to worry too much. If the cat shows other uncomfortable reactions, such as abnormal behavior and overall weakness, it indicates that the body may have other diseases. It is recommended that the owner take the cat to a regular pet hospital in time to diagnose and treat further, otherwise it is easy to delay the treatment time and affect the physical recovery.

  1. Boredom of the cat itself

If the cat is overly bored and has no companions or family members to accompany it, it can lead to the tail tip swaying from left to right, indicating that it needs the owner to play with it, or it might be hungry or injured and need to be accompanied by its mother to play, which can alleviate the boredom. If the uncomfortable symptoms continue, it means the cat is hungry and needs to be fed. After the cat is full, the wagging tail will usually subside, and there is generally no need for drug treatment.

  1. Thinking about something

During the cat's thinking process, the tail remains still, but the tail tip moves, which is a normal physiological phenomenon. After the cat finishes thinking, its tail will return to normal. This usually does not cause uncomfortable reactions in the body or affect normal eating and activity, so there is no need for special treatment.

  1. Illness

When the cat's tail tip moves frequently along with signs of lethargy and physical discomfort, it may indicate a body disease. The cat wags its tail to alleviate the discomfort and to attract the owner's attention. It is recommended that the owner take the cat to the hospital for treatment, which is beneficial for the disease to be controlled.
