Difference between soft stool and diarrhea in cats

The main difference between soft stool and diarrhea in cats lies in the appearance of the feces. Soft stool is usually formed, while diarrhea cannot be formed and becomes a paste-like substance. In addition, soft stool in cats is usually caused by indigestion, while diarrhea is likely to be caused by diseases. Therefore, when cats have soft stool, their mental state is usually normal, while when they have diarrhea, their mental state becomes depressed, accompanied by abnormal symptoms such as loss of appetite, weakness in the four limbs, vomiting, weight loss, high fever, and increased sleep.
