Dog refuses to eat but is in good spirits

A dog that is in good spirits but refuses to eat may be caused by picky eating, indigestion, improper food switching, hot weather, parasite infection, or other reasons. In this case, the owner can try giving the dog some of its usual favorite foods and observe whether it has an appetite. If it has an appetite, it means the dog is picky and needs to be gradually corrected. Indigestion

Parasite Infection

If a dog that used to have a good appetite suddenly refuses to eat and shows symptoms such as weight loss, vomiting, and diarrhea, it may be infected with internal parasites. In this case, the owner should consult a pet doctor promptly and choose safe and effective deworming drugs to treat the parasites.
