Feeding intervals for puppies

The feeding intervals for puppies of different ages vary.

  1. Puppies under three months old:

These puppies have weaker digestive systems, so feeding should be done in small amounts and multiple times a day. They can be fed four times a day, with each meal about 5 hours apart. Meal times can be set at 7 am, 12 pm, 5 pm, and 10 pm.

  1. Puppies between three and six months old:

Puppies can be fed three times a day after they reach three months old, with each meal about 5-6 hours apart. Meal times can be set at 8 am, 12-2 pm, and 8 pm. It's best to feed them on a regular schedule to develop a good eating habit.

  1. Puppies over one year old:

Adult dogs only need to be fed twice a day. Meal times can be set at 7 am and 5 pm. Once a routine is established, it's best not to change the feeding times randomly.

Note: When feeding dogs, never give them too much food at once. Unlike cats, dogs will eat all their favorite food at once, which can lead to stomach discomfort. The amount of food given can be determined by the dog's weight.
