How to deal with fleas on a Teddy dog
Fleas are a common external parasite. If you find fleas on your Teddy, it means that the flea population is quite large. It is recommended to use external parasite control products with flea-killing effects in a timely manner. At the same time, it is necessary to develop the habit of regular parasite control. Generally, external parasite control is recommended every 1-2 months in summer, and the frequency can be appropriately extended in cold weather.
Usually, when Teddy dogs have fleas, they need to use drugs to kill the fleas. Commonly used external parasite control products contain ingredients such as non-泼罗尼 and selenium sulfide. If the flea population on Teddy dog is relatively small, it is recommended to purchase external drop products containing the above ingredients and drop the product on areas of the dog's body that cannot be licked, such as the head and neck. If the flea population on Teddy dog is relatively large, it is recommended to use external spray products containing ingredients such as non-泼罗尼. The drug can be directly sprayed on the dog's head, neck, groin, abdomen, armpits, and tail area. Generally, after 3-5 minutes of application, a large number of fleas can be seen falling off the Teddy dog's body. However, attention should be paid to the drug dosage and overdose is not recommended.
After killing the fleas on Teddy dog, it is also necessary to clean and insecticide the environment. Because fleas will lay eggs in the environment, when the environmental temperature is suitable, the flea eggs will hatch into fleas. If the environment is not cleaned and insecticed, the newly hatched fleas will infect Teddy dog again.
Finally, it is necessary to develop the habit of regular parasite control. Regular parasite control can effectively prevent Teddy dog from being infected with external parasites. It is recommended to conduct external parasite control every 1-2 months in summer, as the high temperature is suitable for the breeding of external parasites. When the temperature gradually drops, the frequency of parasite control can be appropriately extended.
