How to Judge if a Cat has Depression

To determine if a cat has depression, you can carefully observe the cat's behavioral actions, mental state, appetite, and voice. When a cat is feeling satisfied or happy, it usually emits a purring sound. However, if the cat is depressed, it may produce a hissing whine. Cats usually rub against their owner's legs to seek attention, but if the owner takes any action and the cat ignores it, it could be a sign of depression. If a cat shows signs of depression, it is recommended that the owner spend more time accompanying the cat, take it out for walks during leisure time, and keep the cat in a happy mood.

Behavioral Actions
