How to reduce inflammation of the foreskin in chicks

After discovering that the foreskin of the chick has inflammation, it is necessary to take the dog to the hospital for examination in time. Later, there may be inflammatory swelling, pain, increased size of the glans penis, and difficulty urinating. Small ulcers and erosion may occur, and a large amount of mucopurulent secretions may flow from the foreskin opening. In severe cases, there may be systemic symptoms, including lethargy, fever, and loss of appetite.

Impact of excessive foreskin

If a dog has an excessive foreskin during its juvenile period, it may lead to the proliferation of bacteria in the dog's penis area due to the long foreskin. It is recommended to consider surgical treatment to avoid urinary tract infections caused by excessive bacterial growth. If the infection is severe, it may even cause bladder inflammation.
