What are the signs that a Pomeranian doesn't like its owner?

The signs that a Pomeranian doesn't like its owner include frequent barking at the owner, peeing everywhere, disobeying the owner's commands, avoiding the owner, and destroying the house. Most of these situations arise because the owner hasn't spent much time and effort with the Pomeranian. Therefore, it is recommended that the owner spend more time and energy accompanying the dog, take the dog out for play more often, and feed the Pomeranian daily to increase its dependence and familiarity with you.

  1. Frequent barking at the owner

Pomeranians are generally gentle and attached to their owners. They will usually show great affinity to both the owner and others. However, if a Pomeranian frequently barks at its owner and displays a strong hostility towards them, it might mean that they don't like their owner.

  1. Peeing everywhere

After learning to go to the bathroom at specific places, Pomeranians will have a regular bathroom schedule. However, if they don't like their owner, they may pee everywhere, defying the owner and even taking revenge by peeing directly on the owner or in their bed.

  1. Disobeying the owner's commands

Pomeranians have a high intelligence level and can quickly understand their owner's commands. They usually cooperate with the owner's training. However, if a Pomeranian doesn't like its owner, it will ignore the owner's commands no matter how loudly the owner calls. It may also refuse to play with toys or respond to the owner, but will react to someone else instead.

  1. Starting to avoid the owner

Pomeranians are generally very attached to their owners. If they don't like the owner, they will hide when they see them. When the owner comes home from work or returns from outside, the Pomeranian may not greet them actively. If a particularly aggressive Pomeranian doesn't like its owner, it may even bite the owner when they try to pet or approach it.

  1. Destroying the house

If the owner does something that makes the Pomeranian unhappy or punishes it too harshly, the dog may start to dislike the owner. In this case, the Pomeranian may engage in revengeful destruction of the house, making a mess to express its dissatisfaction with the owner.
