Why do dogs destroy things in their homes?
Many dogs love to destroy things in their homes, and parents often come back from outside to find a big surprise. So let's talk about why dogs do this today?
First of all, we need to consider the age issue. If a dog is too young, about 3 to 4 months old, it is in its active period. I recommend preparing some toys for it, otherwise, if you don't divert its attention, its focus will be on your furniture.
The second point also involves age. When a dog is going through its teething period, its gums become itchy, and it wants to find something to bite.
The third reason is revenge. For example, if you promised to take the dog outside for a walk but ended up leaving it alone at home, the dog will be very angry and may destroy your things as a form of revenge.
Finally, some dogs have too much energy. If you often leave them alone at home with no place to burn off their energy, they may resort to destroying furniture to expend their energy.
