  1. Do not feed your dog to capacity two hours before departure. This allows the food to digest and pass through the stomach by the time you start the journey.

  2. Place your dog in the front seat or on the floor in the back seat, which reduces motion sickness. In other words, either keep them looking forward or simply avoid looking at all. Stop at rest areas every one or two hours for both dog and human breaks. Take a walk together.

  3. Some foreigners give their dogs two candies before departure.

  4. You can also give your dog Huoxiang Zhengqi Pill one hour before departure. Note that this applies to pills, not liquid. Give small dogs two grams and large dogs five grams. These are emergency measures.

  5. If you have enough time, it's better to start gradually. From stopping at the same place, gradually adapt to short-distance travel with your dog. Most dog motion sickness is emotional, so be patient.
