Teddy shaking and vomiting
Teddy's shaking and vomiting may be caused by poisoning-induced seizures, traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, which causes dogs to have neurological problems accompanied by vomiting. It could also be that the dog has eaten rat poison or other toxins, causing shaking and vomiting symptoms. Infection with the canine distemper virus can also cause neurological symptoms and vomiting in dogs.
Reason 1 for Teddy's shaking and vomiting
Owners should recall if their dogs have eaten any foreign objects. If so, it may be due to poisoning and seizures caused by foreign objects, usually accompanied by frothy mouth and vomiting. It is recommended that owners immediately administer mineral oil to induce vomiting and then take the dog to the hospital for treatment. If the dog hasn't eaten any foreign objects, it could be caused by diseases such as meningitis or epilepsy.
Reason 2 for Teddy's shaking and vomiting
If the dog is a young pet, infectious diseases such as canine distemper and parvovirus can cause vomiting. In addition, dogs that eat too fast may experience stomach discomfort and vomiting. If the dog hasn't been dewormed, parasites can multiply and migrate within the body, causing vomiting. Acute vomiting may also be caused by poisoning.
What to do about Teddy's shaking and vomiting
If your dog has physiological vomiting, observe the situation after the vomiting stops. The dog usually recovered quickly and can return to normal eating and drinking in a short period of time. If the dog vomits excessively, it may be suspected that the dog has swallowed a foreign object or is suffering from an infectious disease or acute poisoning. Such pathological factors usually do not heal spontaneously. It is best to take the dog to a pet hospital for diagnosis and treatment.
