How to raise a Corgi

Caring for a Corgi requires attention to three aspects: diet, exercise, and mental health.

1. Scientific diet

Diet is crucial to the healthy development of a Corgi. During the puppy stage, it is recommended to feed the Corgi goat's milk without lactose. As the Corgi gets older, you can soak puppy food in goat's milk and feed it, or you can feed it milk cake. Whether in the puppy or adult stage, choosing dog food, it's best to choose brands with rich nutrition. During the physical development process, owners also need to supplement calcium and vitamins for the Corgi, which can be done by purchasing calcium tablets and nutritional pastes regularly.

In addition, you can also feed the Corgi some vegetables and fruits to meet its vitamin needs, but remember to feed it in small amounts. Corgis have a good appetite, so attention should be paid to controlling their food intake. Regular and quantitative feeding can better ensure gastrointestinal health. Because Corgis have poor weight-bearing capacity, it's recommended to control their weight to prevent excessive bodily burden and impact on their health.

2. Appropriate exercise

Given Corgis' short legs, special attention should be paid to prevent them from falling from heights during exercise. Additionally, exercise should be moderate and avoid overly intense activities. Each day, you can take the Corgi for a walk or slow run, but avoid hot weather to prevent heatstroke.

3. Mental health

The owner's companionship is essential in the Corgi's growth process. As Corgis are very people-friendly dogs, they enjoy playing with humans. Owners need to be patient and careful in taking care of them. Given their high intelligence and sensitive nature, inadequate care and attention may lead to depression. Therefore, owners need to pay special attention to both physical and mental health during the breeding process.
