Nine-month Teddy Dog Care Tips

What to feed a nine-month Teddy Dog:

When feeding a nine-month Teddy Dog, you can give them dog food for growing dogs, or homemade dog food. Be sure not to add salt or other spices to the homemade dog food. Ensure that your Teddy Dog has access to plenty of clean, warm water daily. Their food dish should be cleaned thoroughly every day. You can also use small treats or toys to train them.

What can Teddy Dogs eat:

Natural dog food is the preferred choice for Teddy Dogs. When selecting dog food, consider the dog's fur color. For white or black Teddy Dogs, choose natural dog food that promotes fur color stability. For red-brown or gray Teddy Dogs, opt for natural dog food that beautifies the fur. To supplement calcium, you can give Teddy Dogs calcium tablets or bone broth. Additionally, they can eat appropriate amounts of vegetables, such as cabbage and pumpkin.

What Teddy Dogs should not eat:

Dogs are omnivorous. Avoid giving them milk or sheep milk, as it can cause indigestion and diarrhea. Do not feed dogs onions, chocolate, or other foods that can cause poisoning. Avoid giving them small bones like chicken bones, which can easily scratch the gastrointestinal tract. Also, refrain from feeding them preserved meats, as they can damage the liver and kidneys. Do not feed foods with chili peppers or Sichuan peppercorns, as they can irritate the stomach and intestines.

Things to note when raising a Teddy Dog:

Do not physically abuse your Teddy Dog: Under no circumstances should you punch or kick the dog. Focus on training instead. Do not confine Teddy Dogs long-term: They are naturally active and enjoy running freely. Confining them to a cage can be torturous. If they are kept in a cage for an extended period without exercise, sunlight, or contact with other dogs, their fur will fade, become coarse, and lose its luster. Their personality may also become solitary and lazy.
