Puppy's nose always exhales air
1. Born with a short nose
If the puppy is a short-nosed breed such as a French Bulldog, British Bulldog, or Pug, having a nose that always exhales air is a normal physiological phenomenon caused by a short nasal cavity. There is no need to worry too much.
2. Allergies
When the temperature drops or when flowers are in full bloom, if the puppy is allergic to cold air or pollen, they may experience a constant exhalation of air from their nose. For example, when a dog goes from warm indoor air to outdoor air, they may easily sneeze, which is a normal phenomenon. Just make sure to keep the puppy in a constant temperature environment. However, if the dog experiences frequent sneezing, it may be due to pollen allergies. It is recommended to visit a pet hospital in time, and identify the allergic plants to avoid future contact.
3. Respiratory tract infection
If the puppy experiences not only a constant exhalation of air from their nose but also sneezing, running nose, and coughing, it may be caused by a respiratory tract infection. In this case, the owner should pay attention to keeping the puppy warm and visit a veterinarian in time to prevent the condition from worsening.
