Differences between male and female kittens
The differences between male and female kittens are mainly reflected in facial shape, body type, personality, and external genitalia. Male kittens have a larger facial shape and are more likely to develop chubby cheeks as they grow older, while female kittens are the opposite. Male kittens are larger and stronger than female kittens, with more muscle mass. Male kittens are mischievous, while female kittens are generally quieter. Finally, the external genitalia of male kittens can be felt on their bodies, while female kittens do not have them.
Differences between male and female kittens:
First, look at the kitten's facial shape. Male kittens have a larger facial shape, with fuller cheeks, more meat, and are more likely to develop chubby cheeks as they grow older due to the influence of male hormones. Female kitten faces are smaller and have less meat, so they are less likely to develop chubby cheeks as they grow older.
Second, observe the kitten's body type. Male kittens are larger, with strong and sturdy limbs, giving a sense of being well-built. Female kittens have a smaller frame, with less muscle and usually smaller appetites than male kittens.
Next, consider the kitten's personality. Male kittens are mischievous and like to cause trouble, as well as being more aggressive. Female kittens are more gentle, detail-oriented, and more attached to their owners. If you prefer a kitten that is attached to you, it is recommended to raise a female kitten.
Lastly, examine the kitten's external genitalia, which is the most obvious difference between male and female kittens. Larger male kittens have well-developed testicles that can be seen directly under the tail, forming a pair of fluffy small balls. Inside these balls are the male kitten's testicles. In smaller male kittens, the testicles have not yet matured and cannot be directly seen, but they can be felt as two small ball-like objects. Since female kittens do not have testicles, their external genitalia have a distinct appearance from male kittens. The distance between the anus and the vaginal opening can be seen, usually between 0.5-1cm, resembling an inverted exclamation mark.
