Behaviors of kittens recognizing their owners
Usually, kittens can basically recognize their owners at around two months old. Therefore, if you start raising a kitten from its early childhood, the process of recognizing the owner will be much faster. This is also a transitional time for the kitten to leave its mother and move to a new home. After arriving at the new home, the pet owner becomes the person responsible for feeding and taking care of it. The kitten will treat the person who raises and takes care of it as its mother and relative, becoming very attached to them. The longer the kitten's age, the longer it will take to recognize its owner.
The behaviors of kittens recognizing their owners vary. For example, Chinesenative kittens are highly adaptable to environmental changes, brave, and as long as they have food they like, they will allow you to approach them and the recognition process will be shortened. It is recommended for owners to spend more time interacting and playing with their kittens. If the kitten doesn't mind, you can scratch its chin and stroke its head, which will gradually enhance the relationship between you. Eventually, the kitten will recognize you as its owner or friend.
If you have a breed kitten, here are some behaviors it will exhibit when recognizing its owner:
The kitten doesn't resist the owner's touch or stroking. When the owner approaches, the kitten doesn't avoid them, but instead actively moves closer. They will rub against the owner's legs and body, especially after the owner returns home from outside. The breed kitten will be particularly clingy, constantly rubbing against the owner and following them closely, acting as their guardian.
Breed kittens are especially good at being cute. Cats are usually aloof animals, but they will reveal their vulnerabilities only to the owners they like. For example, they will lie on the ground, exposing their belly, and continuously rub against the owner, asking for strokes. This is the cat asking for attention and pampering.
Kittens are very sensitive to their owner's voice. When the owner calls them, they will come to their side without hesitation. However, when others call them, they might completely ignore them.
